GRAPHIC AND WEB DESIGN ARE SPREADING IDEAS TO PEOPLE

The poster describes the distribution and the "weight" of every tweet posted in 2011 between November 12nd and November 17th, talking about the Occupy Wall Street movement and the arrested protesters. During these days 200 persons were arrested in Tuesday 15nd and then 300 in Thursday 17th.

Each tweet is rapresented by the Twitter logo and the position of each tweet is based on the moment of the tweet (hours and minutes on Y axis) and on the polarity of the sentiment (negative or positive on X axis).
Each tweet is defined by its own keyword, extracted by concepts using the Pattern Lib and, for the most relevant ones, there is also the complete Twitter text. The more a tweet is re-tweetted, the more is bigger.


Il manifesto descrive la distribuzione e il "peso" di ogni tweet effettuato tra il 12 e il 17 Novembre 2011 aventi il tema del movimento Occupy Wall Street e in particolare sulle delle persone arrestate durante quei giorni (200 persone arrestate il 15 Novembre e 300 due giorni dopo nella sola New York).

Ogni tweet è rappresentato dal logo di Twitter e la posizione sul grafico è basata sull'istante del tweet (sull'asse Y del foglio) e sulla polarità del sentimento espresso (negativo o positivo, sull'asse X). Per ogni tweet è presente la parola chiave calcolata con la libreria Pattern e per i più rilevanti è presente il tweet completo. Più il tweet è stato ritwittato, più il logo è grande.
